How do I download an Instagram Reel?
Open the Reel, tap the three dots, choose Copy link, then paste it into the box above. Grabnode returns the MP4 in the Reel's native resolution.
Will the Reel have a watermark?
Grabnode adds nothing. If the creator recorded the Reel in TikTok or another app first, that app's watermark is baked into the video and cannot be removed.
What resolution do Reels download in?
Most Reels are published at 1080x1920. Instagram re-encodes uploads, so the file you get matches what Instagram serves rather than the creator's original export.
Can I download Reels from a private account?
No. Only Reels on public profiles can be reached.
Can I save just the Reel audio?
Yes — when the post has a soundtrack, an MP3 option appears alongside the video.
Does it work on iPhone without an app?
Yes. Paste the link in Safari, tap Download, then move the file from the Files app into Photos.
Is there a limit on how many Reels I can save?
No per-user quota. A brief rate limit applies if you make many requests in quick succession.
Can I repost a Reel I downloaded?
Only with the creator's permission. Downloading for personal offline viewing is different from republishing someone else's work.
